The School Day

Our office opening hours are from 8.30 to 4.00pm (3.30pm on a Friday) during term time only.

Our school day is from 8:30am to 3:25pm Monday to Thursday; Friday the school day ends at 1:30pm. Total hours provided in a typical week is 32hrs 40mins. We offer Working Parents Provision until 3.20pm on Friday for parents that are employed.

Pre-school children, who stay for mornings only, leave at 11.40 am.

If you require further information or have any queries please contact our Office Administrator, Mrs Bowen, who will be delighted to help you with your enquiry. Out of hours enquiries can be left on our answering machine and we will get back to you.

Breakfast Club, After School Club and Working Parent Provision

Breakfast Club starts at 7:40am; parents and children can only access Breakfast Club at this time. Drop off is at the top car park where you will be met by a member of staff.

After School Club (currently consists of a variety of clubs until 4.15pm – a regular survey is being sent to parents to gauge demand for a later service). Your children will be brought to the bottom gate to meet you.

Working parents provision takes place on Fridays, children will all leave at 3.20pm, and taken to the bottom gate to meet parents.

Please remember:

  • To let us know before 9am if your child is not going to be at school.
  • To let us know if someone else is collecting your child at the end of the day by lunchtime please.
  • To let us know if any of your contact information changes (including email addresses).

Communication

The school produces a fortnightly newsletter to ensure that parents are kept informed of everything happening in school. If you have given the office an email address then all newsletters and other letters can be sent to you via email. Hard copies will be given out to those parents who do not have access to email or who have requested a paper copy.  Please remember to check these newsletters regularly for information.
