Admissions

On requesting a place for your child, you will be asked to complete a registration form and parent contract.

Our registration form provides Lambourn CofE Pre-school with details about your child and of those who have parental responsibility and legal contact, together with details of those who have permission to collect your child from pre-school and of those who may be contacted in an emergency.

Our parent contract is a contract between Excalibur Academies Trust who own and manage Lambourn CofE pre-school, and the parents or legal guardian (referred to as the parent) of a child that is enrolled at Lambourn CofE pre-school.

Contract period

The minimum contract period is one term (there being six terms per academic year).

Notice period

We require a minimum of a half term’s written notice commencing from the first day of the term to reduce or cancel your child’s regular booking.

Sickness policy

You must immediately inform us if your child is suffering from any contagious disease, or if your child has been diagnosed by a medical practitioner with a notifiable disease. For the benefit of other children attending you must not allow your child to attend whilst they are contagious and pose a risk to other children during normal daily activities. Any child who has a sickness bug must be clear of sickness and/or diarrhoea for 48 hours before returning to pre-school.

Safeguarding

Providing a safe environment for children to learn in is our highest priority. Our Safeguarding Policy can be found here.

All additional policies are available for inspection; please speak to Miss Cupit, Principal for further information.

‘Let your Light Shine’

Every day is an open day at Lambourn Church of England Primary School.  I welcome and encourage you to book your personal tour to visit our fantastic school.  I would be delighted to show you and your family how your children are at the centre of everything that we do in our rural school setting.  Our dedicated staff and smaller class sizes enhance engagement, participation and wellbeing to improve outcomes for all.  I look forward to sharing with you our love of learning.

Maria Cupit – Principal
